Explosive charges will be placed by the Primary and Secondary Blasters when the boiler temperature will permit. The following factors will be used to determine shot placement: size of deposit, configuration of deposit, tube thickness of area where deposit is located and the temperature of deposit. The Primary Blaster will coordinate with the Plant Representative on air flow / fan control to aid in clearing of dust following the explosive detonation.
